Alice Edith Gent

Alice Edith Gent, class of 1911, was from Williamsville in Macoupin County. Her senior theme was on "The purpose and Scope of Literature in the Upper Grades." She served in the YMCA canteen service in France from November 1918 until September 1919. She taught in Pawnee and Williamsville prior to the war. She married LeRoy Stearns June 18, 1921 and lived in Rye, New York in 1927.
